Founded and led by a passionate group of women changemakers, SESD is a government-registered non-profit organization (Indian Trust Act 1860-21, Pune). We are committed to building sustainable, inclusive, and empowered communities through employability enhancement, skills development, and social impact initiatives.
Our mission is to create aspirational livelihoods by promoting digital inclusion, social responsibility, and capacity building — with a strong focus on youth, women, farmers, and rural communities.

Foundation & Vision
2020-2021
SESD was founded by a group of passionate women leaders with a vision to transform rural communities through skills development and employment generation.
Building Partnerships
2021-2022
Established strong networks with educational institutions, formed partnerships with 50+ women self-help groups, and connected with industry experts across Maharashtra.
Program Launch
2022-2023
Launched our first employability skills programs, trained 200+ rural women, and began collaborating with 10+ colleges for student skill development.
Scaling Impact
2023-2024
Expanded to serve 5000+ students, corporate learning and development initiatives, and established ourselves as a trusted partner for corporate social responsibility initiatives.
